Happy New Year, Happy Showing up!

New Year can be a time of self reflection and feeling low in January is very common but It can also be a time of hope, a desire to make changes and be a better version of yourself. A lot of people set themselves goals at the beginning of a new year but by the end of February have slipped back into old comfortable ways and habits. Apparently one of the biggest reasons why only 8% of people achieve their New year resolutions is lack of motivation.
There is a lot of information available on how to best achieve your goals, one of them is process over performance. Showing up is often the hardest part in anything we do. The biggest mistake most of us make is emphasis on the importance of daily performance over process. The process for a dancer might be waking up every morning and training, no matter how tired and sore you feel.
