Physical inactivity can lead to heart disease, diabetes and a large number of cancers.
Gyms can be soulless places and not everyone has the desire to run a marathon but walking is accessible to most people.
There is now scientific evidence that just walking 30 minutes a day is enough to dramatically reduce your risk of heart disease, some cancers and dementia.
